Who am I?

Mariamawit Loulseged, also known as Mawit {Ma-wheat), is a Boston-born and first-generation Ethiopian-American with a strong passion for technology. Currently, an MBA Candidate at Northeastern University, Mawit is deeply engaged in the Analytics and Investments fields, learning alongside a diverse community of driven and talented peers.

With a background in Healthcare, Public Health, and Biotechnology she brings a people-centered, community-focused perspective to business. Growing up in Boston’s dynamic, diverse, intellectually rich environment, Mawit has embraced a growth mindset that drives her toward impactful projects and clear, purpose-driven goals.

Recently, Mawit interned as a Product Manager with Microsoft’s Windows Servicing and Delivery team, gaining hands-on experience in product strategy. This summer led to a deep appreciation for the complexities of software domains and rollout plans. This experience solidified her commitment to a tech-forward career path which is focused on meaningful innovation.

Outside of her professional journey, she enjoys hiking, running, community organizing, and candle-making. A dedicated DEI advocate and trailblazeHER, she is passionate about empowering underrepresented voices in technology, fostering inclusivity, and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
